Why we exist

Artificial intelligence is becoming part of how the world learns, works, creates, and decides. Yet most AI education still treats understanding as a test of endurance. First comes the terminology, then the diagrams, then a procession of definitions written for people who already speak the language. Everyone else is told to keep up.

We reject that. AI literacy is becoming a form of power. If access to that power depends on technical confidence, we will reproduce an old inequality inside a new technology. We are here to open the door wider.

It began with an AI that forgot a corgi

Our first story follows Tori, Ain, and an extraordinarily capable Agent. The Agent can write, reason, plan, and solve problems. But one morning, it cannot remember Tori.

That small failure reveals something enormous. An intelligent system can only reason with what reaches it. Context is finite. Memory is designed. Retrieval makes choices.

We could explain that with a diagram. Instead, we let you feel what it means to be forgotten, and then we ask you to repair it. By the time the technical language appears, the idea is no longer abstract. It has a face, a consequence, and a decision you remember making. That is not decoration around the lesson. That is the lesson.

How it works

Traditional education explains first and hopes attention follows. We reverse the order. A character wants something. A system fails. The failure matters. You make a choice. Only then do we name the mechanism underneath it all.

Then we check whether it stuck. A few days later, one question, no rereading. We are not trying to help anyone memorize more AI vocabulary. We want you to look at an unfamiliar system, ask the right question, and understand what might be happening beneath the surface. Vocabulary expires. Understanding travels.
