What we collect, and why.

What we collect

When you join the story dispatch on the website

• Your email address, so we can send you new episodes and occasional updates.

When you create an account in the app

• Your email address and a password, or the identifier Apple provides if you use Sign in with Apple (Apple may give us a private relay address instead of your real email).

What stays on your device

• The name or handle you give the story, your reading language, your onboarding answers (topics, goals, skill level, daily minutes, and your answer to the opening story question), and your episode progress are stored locally on your phone. Deleting the app deletes them.

Usage analytics

• We record how the app and website are used, for example which screens you open, which onboarding steps you finish, which episodes you start, and which buttons you tap, along with basic device and app-version information. We use this to find where the product is confusing and whether people are actually learning.
• When you sign in, we associate these analytics with your account and email address so we can understand your journey across devices.

Purchases

• Subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your card details. We receive your subscription status (for example, active, trial, or expired) so we can unlock your content.

Notifications

• If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders on your device (for example, a recall question a day or two after an episode). You can turn them off at any time in your phone’s settings.

Who helps us run Corgis AI

We share data only with service providers that process it on our behalf:

• Supabase — account sign-in and authentication.
• PostHog — product analytics for the app and website.
• Resend — sending account emails and the story dispatch.
• RevenueCat, Apple, and Google — subscriptions and purchase status.
• Vercel — hosting the website.
• Expo — delivering app updates.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account information while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your account data from our authentication provider. Analytics data is kept only as long as it is useful for improving the product. Dispatch subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe.

Your choices and rights

• Delete your account in the app: Settings → Profile → Delete account.
• Unsubscribe from the dispatch using the link in any email.
• Turn off notifications in your phone’s settings.
• Access, correct, or delete your data, or ask what we hold about you, by emailing hello@corgis.ai. Depending on where you live (for example, California or the European Union), you may have additional rights, and we will honor them.

Children

Corgis AI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access to our systems is limited. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password.

Changes and contact
